CAHANG
Explained
Ressonance plate
The Cahang has a resonate plate, this has two functions:
It gives the player the ability to tilt the Cajon more upwards, making it even more comfortable to play when needed. It also gives more breathing room for the back plate of the Cahang and thus allow it to resonante more, allowing low frequencies to come through.
ERGONOMICS
Hanging Belt
Because the Cahang is designed to be played standing up, it requires a hanging system. Well, we made one! It is designed to be strong and comfortable, stable & ergonomic to wear for extended periods of time.
Tilted Playing surface
The Cahang has a tilted playing surface/tappa. This allows you to play more comfortably since you don’t need to bend your wrists as much.
Snare System
The Cahang is made with 4 adjustable guitar strings. You can change the tension of each snare seperatly at the bottom of the Cahang.
The 4 snares are placed at the sides of the Cahang, giving the player the freedom to choose if you want more or less snare sound by playing more or less in the center.
SOUND
Tone flexibility
Because of the Cahangs horizontal/landscape like design it gives the player more flexibility to choose different tones when playing. Playing in the center gives you more lower tones while playing at the sides gives more higher tones. This is the case for both the snare sounds and the base sounds.
